Anja Janischewski
Anja has a background in applied mathematics from the University of Warwick (UK), Chalmers University (Sweden) and Graz University of Technology (Austria). At the moment, she is a PhD student in Economics at Chemnitz University of Technology, working on agent-based models of financial markets. She is analysing questions of how the behaviour and decisions of individual agents aggregate to create macro-level outcomes. In particular, she is interested in systemic risk and resilience of financial networks in a scenario of ecological limits to economic growth.
